The Golden & Region Seniors Society is led by a Board of Directors who is responsible for ensuring the Society is governed according to the Constitution and as per the Bylaws and Procedures.

 

GOLDEN AND SENIORS SOCIETY CONSTITUTION 

The purpose of the Society is to operate a non-profit organization promoting the physical and social wellbeing of all members and all seniors in Golden and Columbia Shuswap Area A.

To operate and maintain the interior, and manage the facility known as the Golden Seniors Centre for the benefit of the members as well as the community.

Current Board of Directors

Directors are elected to the Board by the members at the Annual General Meeting for a two-year term. The Board consists of not less than three and no more than eleven members, once elected the Board chooses the Executive positions.
